The right to life is a human right. Our defense of that right is a joyful witness to the beauty and dignity of every human person. The March for Life is an inspiring, peaceful, vibrant, and joy-filled rally of women, men, young people, and children from across the country – and it’s the largest annual human rights demonstration in the world. This year's March will take place on Friday, January 23rd. Although there will not be a bus from the Eastern Shore to the March this year, you can carpool with fellow parishioners to DC or to the Metro stop off Rt. 50 at New Carrolton. For more information, visit www.marchforlife.org.

A decision has been made to cancel the parish Fall Fest event which was to have taken place on Saturday, November 8th. Therefore, all activities associated with the event including the kid's games/petting zoo/crafts, ticket auction, bake sale and lunch as well as the evening dinner will NOT take place. Ticket sales for the dinner were very slow and the Fundraising Committee didn't feel they could justify the expenses and volunteer man hours related to the event without hope of adequate attendance or income.
We thank all those who purchased dinner tickets. We will be reaching out to you in the days ahead to refund you for the cost of your tickets.
The Fundraising Committee had already begun to create and compile theme baskets and auction items for the ticket auction at the event. These baskets and items will be raffled off at other upcoming parish events.
This is a busy time of year for sports, family gatherings and other community fundraisers and events and this reality probably led to the low response to the Fall Fest event.
We thank all of you for your support of our parish fundraisers and events and look forward to seeing you at future events. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please reach out to Anne Henderson at 302-547-7503 or [email protected].
