On Saturday, September 12, pro-life Americans will honor the memory of more than 66 million unborn victims of abortion during the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. Our parish will pray a Rosary for the Unborn at 10am at Holy Cross Cemetery that morning.

On the 25th anniversary of 9-11, there will be a Community Service of Remembrance at 8:30am at the Caroline County Courthouse. Guest speaker, Lt. Col. Franklin Childress, will tell his story about how he credits God's providence with saving his life that day when he was supposed to be at the Pentagon and wasn't. Come to commemorate the courage and honor the sacrifice of all of the first responders and citizens who did lose their lives on that fateful day 25 years ago.

The Annual Marian Pilgrimage for our diocese will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Shrine of Our Lady Queen of Peace on the campus of Holy Spirit Church in New Castle, DE. This year's theme is "Our Lady of Nazareth" and guest speaker is Rev. Matthew Kauth, author of The Imitation of St. Joseph. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Our first Super Sunday of the program year will take place on Sunday, September 20th with the Knights of Columbus offering their buffet breakfast after the 8:00a.m. Mass in the Parish Hall. Cost for the buffet breakfast is just $6 per person with a $35 MAX per family and the menu includes scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, sausage gravy with biscuits, potatoes, pancakes and beverages. Our parish Youth Ministry gatherings will begin again on September 20th. All youth in grades 6-12 are invited and encouraged to join us for faith, fellowship and fun through prayer, play and service.
